IBC cap with the common NW50 (DIN61, DN60) coarse thread (56-62mm ID). In the centre is a 3/4″ thread for a tap or other 3/4″ BSP fitting. It also comes with a bowl gasket which must be removed when the tap is connected.

Commonly used with the Water Butt Tap with Hose Connector (406130) we sell the combination as code 700747 – Tap-Cap combo. A standard garden hose connector clips onto the tap. Commonly used on IBCs storing water on lifestyle blocks and building sites and well as in industrial applications.

Please note that we now do not have two versions of thread in the centre of this cap. We now only have  type 500745s which has slots in the 3/4″ BSP thread and therefore requires a 3/4″ gasket if you wish to use it with a pipe that does not have a gasket already.  It is suitable for use with a tap or hose with a gasket. The manufacturer does not make the original type any longer (500745 as shown on the right side in image of two caps).
