Moulding Methods:                 Injection, Blow, Extrusion, Rotary Recommended Temp. Range: -0°C to +130°C

Structural Strength:                Excellent Injection moulded

Impact Resistance:                 Good

Identification:                        Hard surface which can’t be scratched with

fingernail. Shaving burns with no smoke drips like a candle, smells of burnt oil.

Joining or Repair Methods:      Plastic Welding

Related Materials:                  PP Co-polymer has 4% HDPE added and

increases lower Temperature range to - 40°C

General Comments:

Excellent abrasion resistance. Can be used in autoclaves. Used for Carton tape, and strapping, crates, buckets, bottles, laboratory wares. 300 litre to 500 litre high temperature tanks.

Recycle applications Industrial:

Most manufacturers of products would recycle all reject items and off cut materials by granulating the material and then re-extrude or remould as the material loses none of its physical properties.

Recycle applications Domestic:

Unfortunately very little is recovered in N.Z. although the material is infinitely suitable for the manufacture of such items as Battery cases, pegs and many more.
