The pool should be positioned on perfectly level ground or the pool will not fill correctly; the sides will bow out and the water level will be lopsided.

Pools below 40cm and above 120cm adhere to general height safety requirements. Please ensure you comply with your local council regulations.  Some district councils have new updated requirements for consents. According to the Building Act NZ permits are required for pools over 35,000Lit.
